sound healing

Vibration, frequency, and resonance to settle your nervous system and restore balance.

Sound Healing at ALLORA uses harmonic instruments—crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong, drum, and more—to guide the mind and body into a deeply restorative state. These vibrations support regulation, clarity, emotional release, and a grounded sense of well-being.

Sound is one of the fastest pathways to the nervous system. When we bathe in frequency, the body naturally shifts from stress into rest. This is the essence of a sound bath. Sound healing can be experienced one-on-one, in small groups, or in community gatherings.

RAISE YOUR VIBRATION

what is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a therapeutic and meditative experience where soothing tones and vibrations “wash over” the body—inviting deep relaxation, rest, and inner stillness.

Through instruments like:

  • crystal singing bowls

  • chimes

  • gong

  • tuning forks

  • drum

  • and other harmonic tools

You are guided into a state where your mind quiets, the body softens, and your nervous system resets.

Sound baths can be experienced:

  • In a group setting (community-based, grounding, shared energy)

  • Privately one-on-one (personalized, intuitive, and deeply restorative)

common questions

  • A sound bath is a therapeutic experience where participants listen to harmonic sounds produced by instruments like singing bowls and gongs. The aim is to induce deep relaxation and promote well-being through the soothing vibrations. It's called a "bath" as the sound waves wash over participants, creating a meditative atmosphere.

  • In a sound bath, participants are encouraged to either lie down or sit in a comfortable position as the practitioner plays an array of sacred instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks, and more. The purpose is to curate a blend of harmonious sounds that fosters a deeply relaxing and meditative experience for those taking part.

  • Allowing for your physical body to be as comfortable as possible is our priority! That means we encourage you to bring a yoga mat to lay on, a blanket to keep warm, pillows, bolsters, eye mask, pair of sock, or anything else you need to be relaxed on the ground.

For clothing, we recommend wearing comfortable and light layers. We our bodies go into deep states of relaxation, our body temperatures tend to drop.

  • Sound is for everyone! Not only do we experience sound audibly; we also experience sound through skin and bone conduction, as well as in our energetic and subtle bodies.

  • Sound healing isn't a trendy wellness fix; it's an ancient practice steeped in tradition. Shamans used drums, ancient Greeks employed flutes, and Tibetan monks utilized singing bowls—all recognizing the profound impact of sound on our well-being.

In Spring 2024, we will be hosting a Sound Healing Intensive Training so that you can deepen your knowledge, expedite your own healing, and share this beautiful practice with your community.
