These Terms + Conditions govern your relationship with ALLORA Health + Wellness and apply to all services, classes, events, trainings, memberships, and virtual offerings. By booking, registering, purchasing, or participating in any ALLORA experience — in any format — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full.
These terms are updated periodically as ALLORA grows and evolves. It is your responsibility to review them as you see fit. They will always be accessible at this link.
01 Agreement to Terms
Your Participation Is Your Agreement
These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and ALLORA Health + Wellness, a wellness studio owned and operated by Amanda Chirumbolo Miller, located at 3524 Butler Street, Floor 3, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
Agreement is established at the point of booking, registration, purchase, or participation — whichever occurs first. If you are registering on behalf of a minor, your agreement also covers that participant.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not book or participate. We are always happy to answer questions before you commit — reach us at hello@allorahealthandwellness.com.
02 Release of Liability
Participation Carries Inherent Risk
By participating in any ALLORA session, class, event, training, or offering — whether in-person or virtual — you voluntarily assume all associated risks.
You agree to release and hold harmless ALLORA Health + Wellness, its owner, employees, contractors, guest instructors, agents, and representatives from all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to your participation. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, disability, illness, emotional distress, death, or property loss.
This release applies whether a claim arises before, during, or after your participation in any ALLORA activity, and whether it is based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of ALLORA or its representatives.
Your purchase of any service or your presence at any ALLORA event constitutes acknowledgment that you are fully responsible for any and all risks, known and unknown, without limitation.
03 Health + Wellness Practices
Yoga, Movement, Breathwork, Sound + Reiki
ALLORA offers somatic and energy-based wellness practices including yoga, movement, breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and Reiki. These modalities involve varying degrees of physical exertion, breath regulation, and energetic or vibrational experience. Each carries its own inherent risks.
By participating, you confirm that:
- You have consulted — or accept full responsibility for consulting — a qualified healthcare provider prior to participation, particularly if you have any existing medical conditions, injuries, recent surgeries, or mental health concerns.
- You represent, to the best of your knowledge, that you have no condition that would prevent safe participation without physician clearance.
- You will communicate any health concerns, injuries, or limitations to your instructor before class begins.
- You understand that Reiki is a gentle, energy-based modality and is not a substitute for medical treatment.
- You understand that sound healing uses vibrational frequencies — including quartz crystal singing bowls — that may be experienced on, near, or around the body, and includes elements such as lying on the floor or navigating stairs.
- You understand that breathwork can produce altered states, physical sensations, and emotional release, and you agree to approach these practices with care and personal awareness.
- Where an instructor also holds a medical or clinical license, you acknowledge that in an ALLORA setting, that person is acting solely as a wellness instructor — not as your healthcare provider.
You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or outcomes — known or unknown — that may arise from your participation in any ALLORA class, session, or event.
04 Scope of Practice
What ALLORA Is — + Is Not
ALLORA Health + Wellness is an integrative wellness studio. Our services are complementary in nature. They are not medical care, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or replace any medical or mental health condition or professional treatment.
- ALLORA does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or perform medical procedures of any kind.
- ALLORA does not claim the ability to heal the body or mind.
- ALLORA does not interfere with the care of any licensed healthcare professional.
- Any wellness guidance, information, or support offered through ALLORA is received by your own free will. You release ALLORA, its owner Amanda Chirumbolo Miller, and any affiliated practitioners from all legal, financial, and personal liability in connection with that guidance.
We always recommend working alongside a licensed physician, midwife, therapist, or other qualified professional for any physical or psychological concerns. ALLORA is designed to support and complement — not replace — that care.
We believe deeply in the power of integrative wellness. These boundaries exist to honor the integrity of that work and protect everyone in our community.
05 Contraindications
When to Check With Your Provider First
Some ALLORA offerings may not be appropriate for all participants at all times. We ask that you consult your healthcare provider before participating if any of the following apply to you:
- Sound Healing: Active seizure disorders, neurological conditions, traumatic brain injury, pacemakers or cochlear implants, acute ear infections, or heightened sensitivity to sound or vibration.
- Breathwork: Pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, history of psychosis, severe anxiety or panic disorder, recent surgery, or respiratory conditions.
- Yoga + Movement: Recent injury, surgery, or chronic pain conditions — please inform your instructor so modifications can be offered.
- Reiki: While Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, we ask that those with active psychiatric conditions or severe trauma histories approach energy work with the support of a mental health professional.
- General: First trimester of pregnancy (for most active modalities). Please disclose pregnancy to your instructor before any session.
This list is not exhaustive. When in doubt, please ask. We would rather support you in finding the right experience than have you participate in something that isn't aligned with your current wellbeing.
06 Doula Support Services
Birth, Postpartum + Wellness Doula
Doula support provided through ALLORA is non-medical in nature. A doula is not a midwife, obstetrician, or nurse. Doulas do not perform clinical assessments, make medical decisions, catch babies, or act as a substitute for your licensed obstetric care team.
By engaging any doula service through ALLORA, you understand and agree that:
- Doula support is continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period — not medical care.
- All birth and postpartum decisions remain subject to the guidance of your licensed care providers and your own fully informed consent.
- On-call windows, backup coverage, scope of support, and payment terms are detailed in your individual Doula Services Agreement, which governs the specific terms of your engagement.
- In the event of an emergency, your doula will always defer to and support your medical care team — and will never intervene in clinical decisions.
- ALLORA and its doulas are released from liability for any medical outcomes related to birth, postpartum recovery, infant wellbeing, or clinical decisions made during the care period.
Doula services are a profound act of presence and support. We hold the work seriously and enter each client relationship with care, preparation, and full commitment.
07 Trainings + Workshops
Sound Healing Training, Reiki Attunement + Educational Programs
ALLORA offers practitioner-level trainings, attunements, and educational workshops. Enrollment in any training program is governed by the following:
- Curriculum: ALLORA reserves the right to update, modify, or adapt training content, materials, and delivery format as the programs evolve. Core learning outcomes will remain consistent.
- Completion + Certification: Certificates of completion are issued upon fulfillment of all program requirements, including attendance, participation, and any required practicum or assignments. ALLORA reserves the right to withhold certification if requirements are not met.
- Withdrawal: Refunds and credits for trainings are outlined at enrollment. Participants who withdraw mid-program forfeit their enrollment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Cohort Cancellation: In the event ALLORA must cancel a training cohort, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.
- Scope of Certification: Completing an ALLORA training does not constitute licensure or clinical certification. Graduates are responsible for understanding the scope of practice applicable in their own professional context.
08 Virtual Services
Online Sessions, Courses + Digital Offerings
ALLORA offers a range of virtual services including virtual doula support, online workshops, digital courses, and live-streamed sessions. The following terms apply to all virtual offerings:
- Technology: You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and compatible device for virtual sessions. ALLORA is not responsible for technical interruptions on your end.
- Session Interruptions: If a live virtual session is interrupted due to a technical failure on ALLORA's end, we will make every effort to reschedule or resume. Significant interruptions will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
- Recording: ALLORA may record live virtual sessions for educational or archival purposes. You will be notified if a session you attend is being recorded. You may not record, screenshot, or capture ALLORA sessions or content without express written permission.
- Digital Course Access: Access to self-paced or pre-recorded content is for personal use only and is non-transferable. Access periods will be clearly noted at the time of purchase.
- Environment: For somatic practices, breathwork, and sound healing conducted virtually, you are responsible for ensuring your environment is safe, private, and appropriate for the practice.
09 Corporate Wellness
Private Events + Organizational Programming
ALLORA offers custom wellness experiences for organizations, businesses, and private groups. Corporate and private event engagements are governed by a separate services agreement that outlines scope, pricing, deliverables, and cancellation terms specific to that engagement.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any corporate or private event date. The deposit amount will be specified in your proposal.
- Participant Waivers: The organizing party is responsible for ensuring that all individual participants are aware of and agree to ALLORA's standard Terms + Conditions prior to the event. ALLORA may provide a participant waiver template upon request.
- Venue + Logistics: The organizing party is responsible for ensuring the event venue is suitable, accessible, and safe for the planned activities. ALLORA will communicate any specific space or setup requirements in advance.
- Cancellation: Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the event date may result in forfeiture of the full program fee. Specific terms will be detailed in the engagement agreement.
10 ALLORA Circle Membership
Membership Terms

11 Minor Participants
Children + Teens in ALLORA Programming
ALLORA welcomes young participants in age-appropriate programming, including the Tweens Cycles of Change Workshop and family wellness events. The following applies to any participant under the age of 18:
- A parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms + Conditions on behalf of the minor participant.
- By registering a minor for any ALLORA program, the parent or guardian assumes all associated risks on their behalf and releases ALLORA from all related liability.
- A parent or guardian must be reachable by phone for the duration of any session attended by a minor participant not accompanied by an adult.
- ALLORA staff and instructors are not licensed childcare providers. Minor participants are expected to be capable of participating independently in the registered program.
- Any health conditions, sensitivities, or special considerations for a minor participant must be disclosed to ALLORA prior to the session.
12 Cancellations + Refunds
Our Policy, With Care
We understand that life is full and plans change. Our cancellation policy exists to protect the integrity of our schedule and the experience of every client we serve. We ask for as much notice as possible so that space can be offered to others.
- Individual Sessions: Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full credit toward a future session. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Group Classes + Events: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event may receive a session credit. No credits are issued for cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows.

Participants will receive a full credit or refund for any ALLORA-initiated cancellation.
13 Payments
Booking + Billing
All services require prepayment or a deposit at the time of booking unless a payment plan or alternative arrangement has been explicitly agreed upon in writing.
- Accepted Payments: ALLORA accepts major credit and debit cards via Stripe and Acuity Scheduling. Cash and check payments may be accepted for select services — please inquire.
- HSA + FSA: Select ALLORA services may be eligible for payment with HSA or FSA funds. It is your responsibility to confirm eligibility with your plan provider prior to booking. ALLORA does not guarantee HSA/FSA coverage for any service.
- Payment Plans: When offered, payment plans are outlined in your individual service agreement and must be adhered to in order to maintain active enrollment or booking status.
- Outstanding Balances: Unpaid balances may result in suspension of services until resolved. ALLORA reserves the right to require payment in full before future services are rendered.
14 Intellectual Property
ALLORA's Original Work
All content, curriculum, written materials, audio, video, sequences, and creative work produced by ALLORA Health + Wellness — including but not limited to the Sound Healing Practitioner Training curriculum, workshop materials, Substack content, session guides, and digital course content — are the original intellectual property of ALLORA Health + Wellness and Amanda Chirumbolo Miller.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, teach from, or commercially use any ALLORA content without express written permission.
- Training graduates may apply the methods and frameworks taught in their own wellness practice, but may not replicate, resell, or rebrand ALLORA's curriculum or materials.
- Screenshots, recordings, or any capture of live or recorded ALLORA sessions without permission constitutes a violation of these terms.
We work hard to create meaningful, original programming. Thank you for honoring that work.
15 Community + Conduct
Holding Space, Together
ALLORA is a space built on respect, inclusion, and care. Every person who walks through our doors — or joins us virtually — deserves to feel safe and welcome. We ask that all participants uphold the following community standards:
- Treat fellow participants, instructors, and staff with kindness and respect at all times.
- Honor the sanctity of shared space — arrive on time, minimize disruption, and be mindful of noise and movement during sessions.
- Respect the privacy of other participants. What is shared in a class or group setting stays within that container.
- For youth programming specifically, all adults present are expected to actively model the values of respect and care.
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will result in immediate removal from the session and may result in suspension from future ALLORA programming — with no refund issued.
ALLORA reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose conduct is inconsistent with the values of this community.
16 Testimonials + Client Stories
Sharing Your Experience
ALLORA may from time to time share client testimonials, birth stories, or reflections as part of its educational content and community storytelling — always with the intention of honoring and inspiring, never exposing.
- Any testimonial, story, or quote shared publicly by ALLORA will only be used with your explicit consent.
- You may request that your feedback remain private at any time, and ALLORA will honor that request.
- Doula clients: birth stories are held with the deepest reverence. No identifying details will ever be shared without your written consent.
17 Photo + Video
By attending any ALLORA class, event, or session, you grant ALLORA permission to use images or footage of you for website, newsletter, social media, or educational content. You will not be identified by name without additional consent. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before the session begins.
18 Communications
By registering for any ALLORA service or event, you consent to receive booking confirmations, follow-up messages, and periodic communications from ALLORA. Marketing emails are sent through Flodesk. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email — no questions asked.
19 Privacy + Data
ALLORA does not sell your personal information. Your data is used solely to deliver and improve your experience. ALLORA uses third-party platforms including Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, Flodesk, and Stripe — each governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies if you have questions about how your data is handled within those systems.
20 Governing Law + Dispute Resolution
When Things Need to Be Worked Out
These Terms + Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
In the event of a dispute, ALLORA and the affected party agree to first attempt resolution through direct, good-faith communication. We genuinely believe most concerns can be addressed through honest conversation, and we commit to approaching any issue with care and integrity.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree that any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
ALLORA reserves the right to update these Terms + Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised date. Continued use of ALLORA services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
