an invitation to work with sound

Sound has long been used across cultures as a tool for regulation, ritual, and restoration. At ALLORA, sound healing is approached as both a practice and a presence — rooted in physiology, somatics, and lived experience.

This training was created for those who feel drawn to sound, whether that curiosity is personal, professional, or still unfolding.

You do not need prior experience.
You do not need to know how you’ll use sound.
You simply need curiosity and care.

who is this sound training for?

  • individuals seeking a personal sound or meditation practice

  • yoga teachers, doulas, therapists, and wellness practitioners

  • creatives and artists drawn to sound as a modality

  • people curious about nervous system regulation through vibration

  • those interested in eventually facilitating sound for groups or community

  • anyone wanting a grounded, ethical entry point into sound healing

This training is designed to meet you where you are — whether you’re just beginning your path with sound or integrating it into your existing practice.

two paths

Some participants complete this training to deepen their own wellbeing and meditation practice. Others integrate sound into existing offerings or begin facilitating small group experiences.

personal

professional

Both paths — and everything in between — are welcome.

This training does not dictate how sound “should” be used. It supports you in discovering how sound fits into your life and work.

what you’ll learn

This training blends education, embodiment, and integration, including:

  • foundations of sound healing and vibrational support

  • how sound supports relaxation and stress reduction

  • working with common sound tools (bowls, chimes, voice, drum)

  • understanding tone, frequency, and resonance

  • creating grounded sound experiences

  • holding space for individuals and groups

  • ethical considerations and professional boundaries

  • cultivating confidence in your relationship with sound

You’ll gain tools you can use immediately — for yourself and, if you choose, for others.

At ALLORA, sound healing lives at the intersection of science and spirituality

In this training, we explore:

  • how sound interacts with the nervous system

  • vibration, rhythm, tone, and resonance

  • trauma-aware and consent-based facilitation

  • holding space safely for yourself and others

  • integrating sound with breath, meditation, and movement

Sound is offered here as a complementary practice — one that supports regulation, rest, and awareness rather than promising outcomes or “fixes.”
