Calm The Mind

Meditation Library

Meditation is for everyone. Enjoy the following guided meditations at your own pace. It is recommended that you are comfortable yet in a position where you won’t be tempted to fall asleep. If you are new to meditation, you are welcome to sit back in an upright chair or even utilize an open wall and sit with your back against it to ensure the spine is straight and comfortable for the entirety of the meditation.

The beautiful thing about a meditation practice is that there are no tangible requirements. Of course, Yoga blocks, bolsters, blankets or even pillows and books can all help assist the body and support it in order to fully relax and be comfortable, but, the beauty of meditation is that YOU are the only requirement.

New to meditation and don't know where to start? In this 10-minute overview, Amanda discusses the importance of sitting upright with a tall spine in meditation as well as breaks down several tools/props anyone can access to provide support and comfort + ultimately allowing the body to relax and be at ease during whatever length meditation you choose.
